I was personally introduced to the brand in 2016 when I walked into a Sephora while in Chicago and asked a staff member for a highlighting powder that wouldn’t make me break out. He smiled knowingly and walked over to the Hourglass section and informed me that their highlight compacts were formulated without Talc, the primary culprit of highlight induced breakouts.
Finally, I could get that #lit look without fear of waking up to little red dots the next day. After using the product religiously since then, it’s safe to say I’m a fan. And it seems like the Hourglass formulations have only gotten better.
